Late one night in Memphis in 1976, while partying with some friends, Elvis became aware of a sandwich made in Denver, Colorado called the "Fool's Gold Loaf." He was so lit-up by the description of it, that he and his friends immediately drove to the Memphis airport, boarded his jet and flew two hours to the Stapleton International Airport. Upon arrival at 1:40am, the sandwich maker and his wife brought 22 loaves of the bacon / peanut butter / grape jelly concoction to the hangar. The men spent two hours eating the sandwiches and washing them down with Perrier and champagne. Afterwards, they boarded the plane and flew back without ever having left the airport. This song is about that experience. www.youtube.com/watch?v=SE26rgKajYM
