A new Elvis Presley feature film is currently in the making, "Conversations with the King: Journals of a Young Apprentice," is the name of the David Stanley book that will be made into a feature film at Bite Size Entertainment.
MSN reported on Wednesday, August 29, that Ron Bloom's entertainment studio has announced on Tuesday that a new full length feature film featuring The King of Rock 'n' Roll is currently in the making.
The King of Rock 'n' Roll is coming back in a new film from Bite Size Entertainment.
Bloom is turning the David E. Stanley book "Conversations with the King; Journals of a Young Apprentice" into a full length film detailing Stanley's 17-year relationship with Elvis.
David Stanley moved into Elvis' home Graceland at the age of four, and Elvis , who was his stepbrother, also served as a father figure and mentor. Stanley with the aid of David Gruder then turned David's experience into 'Conversations."
Bite Size Entertainment leaders Gene Kirkwood and Ross Elliot will produce the film project, which the company has titled "Growing Up Graceland." The film will capture the unique relationship between Elvis Presley and Stanley, along with a deep look into the final years of Elvis Presley's life.
A statement made by Kirkwood said "After meeting David Stanley, reading his book and listening to his stories, I realize there is another side to the Elvis phenomenon-- a bigger story-- and one that has never been told."
This is the story of his life outside the public glare, an amazing journey of family and faith, and one that I was immediately convinced had the power to live on the big screen and extend across multiple channels of entertainment."
Bite Size Entertainment made it's debut launch at Cannes, and soon began working on a series of projects, including "The Fast and the Furious."
