Priscilla Presley Scam
Photos of Elvis Presley are everywhere. Is he really in hiding? Or is he really dead? Priscilla Presley, on the other hand is more likely to be seen on a screening of “Naked Gun”. But there she was, well, at least it looked like her, trying to scam me over the internet.
Everyone body wants to be loved by someone. Everybody wants someone to love. Finding the right woman is kind of hard to do for a man and likewise, for a finding the right man for a woman is not easy. Nevertheless, there is nothing like a picture to tell a story. As they say a picture is worth a thousand words. Although, often a person might see a picture and only three or four words explode from the mouth.
Being involved in a scam on the receiving end can have its benefits, I suppose. At least, this can be the case if you do not fall victim to the scammers. Although most people do not realize they have been scammed until after the event. The art of good scamming requires that the victim is not aware of the con that is taking place and that they are the sacrificial lamb that is about to be slaughtered. Well, not so much slaughtered, more liberated of the having the burden to worry about the money they once had would be safe from scammers. Maybe that is the way scammers see it.
But I ask you. Would you send photos of yourself to another person who you were about to scam. It defeats the purpose really. Although, I suspect, scammers sending prospects photos do so expecting the prospect to fall victim to the scam and then being too embarrassed to tell anybody. This may work most times, especially if the scam does not involve a person’s life savings. What is a few thousand between friends, or as the scammer thinks, for a victim to hand over when being scammed.
Scammers work on human weaknesses, of which there are many. Nothing like a pretty girl to unfreeze the gonads of an old man or arouse the hormones of a young stud. It works even better when the person is a look-alike of someone famous. Even more so, if the famous person has a spouse whose name is Elvis Presley and a favorite (can’t say idol in m case) of the intended victim. Just the idea that we might be associated with the look-a-like, is sufficient for some of us to go on a trip to the outer regions of our mind—for the uninitiated, this is called an ego trip where we lose control of faculties and suffer delusions, often of grandeur. As you can imagine, when we become so excited about the trip (ego), we forget about mundane things like not parting with our money and handing it over to the scammers.
This is how they work. Scammers exploit our human weaknesses and rely upon our embarrassment afterwards to get away with our money. Of course, they are never happy if catch them out in the process. Only, I have to admit, there are probably thousands of people right now, falling victim to the scam. These guys work day and night, having girls write letters and send photographs, just so men all over the world tonight might fall victim to the scam.
Priscilla Presley did not scam me. Well, her look-a-like that is, no matter how much she said she loved me.
